Mushroom Pate Recipe

I have been asked how I made my homemade mushroom pate.

Basically I took

1 x punnet of button mushroom (washed and prepared)
1 small onion (peeled and chopped
1 garlic clove (peeled and squashed)

whizzed them together in a food processor with some herbs and added some bread to thicken.

At this stage you have a mushroom pate. However I bake it so that the onion and garlic taste is milder. This is just a basic recipe, you can add other items. If its too thick add some water and if its too sloppy add some breadcrumbs.

There is plenty of mushroom pate recipes on the net so why not explore the possibilities.
